At Zen Dental Studio, we endeavour to place fillings, remove old fillings, shape and place crowns, perform root canal treatments as well as perform other procedures under rubber dam isolation.

    Also, we use many small and sharp instruments which are dangerous if swallowed or inhaled. A rubber dam helps eliminate this risk by preventing you swallowing anything by mistake.

    When removing old metal fillings, there is a risk of inhalation of certain toxins. Placing a rubber dam removes this risk. It also makes the procedure much more comfortable as it allows all the water from the drills to be picked up so that you do not swallow it.
