Dr Jay Menon

BDS, FRACDS (Syd.), MSc(Dental Implants, UJI-Spain)

Jay is very experienced and enthusiastic about the dental industry and he’s actually a 3rd generation dentist, it runs in the family. He is the other half of this experienced dentist tag team duo.

He completed his dentistry education back in 2007, and has since continuously attended educational courses in dentistry. His special interests include implantology, and orthodontics, which led to him completing two mini residency certificate courses in Orthodontics (IAADent academy + COP) and a mini residency certificate course in Dental Implantology from IAADent.

Jay then completed his Master’s degree in the field of Dental Implantology and Periodontics from UJI, Spain.

Further, Jay is a Fellow by Examination of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS).

He also has a certificate in phlebotomy (blood collection) for using patient’s blood cells for implantology and bone grafting.

He is a member of the International Association of Orthodontics (IAO), Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry (IAAD).

Jay loves to research and read, and completes over 100 hours of continuing dental education every year to further his knowledge and skills to better serve his patients.

In his free time, Jay enjoys photography, soccer, basketball and reading as well as spending time with his family.

The dynamic visionary behind Zen Dental Studio, Dr. Priyanka Shinde, is the jewel of Zen Dental Studio. Her passion and determination in the pursuit and achievement of her goal to establish a world class dental centre is an inspiration to many young aspiring dentists. She is truly a testament to the younger generation and an exceptional role model in the pursuit of excellence with the ultimate purpose of serving others.

To guarantee that her patients will receive only the finest that modern dentistry has to offer, Dr. Priyanka pursues continuing professional development by equipping herself through trainings and certifications from dental health care leaders and innovators around the world.

Most dentists perform cosmetic dentistry to some extent, however Priyanka is one of the very few qualified aesthetic dentists practicing in Australia. Her special interests include cosmetic dentistry, smile makeovers, full mouth rehabilitations and root canal treatments (endodontics). She has left a smile on so many of her patients due to her meticulous approach and amazing results. Seeing the emotional joy of the life changing experience achieved by transforming one’s smile, is what drives Priyanka to be the best in this field.

Priyanka follows a minimally invasive approach in dentistry and looks at the conservation of tooth structure as paramount to the long term success of her patients’ teeth.

She works and continuously up-skills to be able to provide her patients with the most aesthetically pleasing smile and experience.

Working with children and interacting with people is something Pri really enjoys and her hobbies include running, creative photography and travelling.
